Supplement Music Websites/Optional Activities

Quavermusic.com - This is our online textbook. While all of my students have used it, only third through eighth grade have accessed it individually already. They can log in by following the sheep (all buttons are beside the sheep) and logging in with their school google account. Once in quaver, students can go into the metro and explore multiple styles of music OR go into student interactives for reading, creating, and games OR go into the music room for the arcade OR go into the store for creating and improv.

Musictechteacher.com - Select Quizzes and you can find a multitude of learning games on music topics.

Brainpop or Brainpopjr - (if you have access through school login, like clever) Watch videos, take quizzes, read, or learning activities.

Met opera.net - Nightly Metropolitan Operas streamed as well on Demand apps for multiple devices where available. (Parents please note some operas may not be age appropriate. Choose carefully.)

Marineband.marines.mil - Scroll down to Sousa’s March Mania and select it. Once there you can listen to marches and vote for your favorite. It’s like March Madness for Marches.

Classicsforkids.com/music//instruments_orchestra.php - This has quick instrument introductions.

Sfskids.org - Instrument demos and reading materials and games. (Parents please note this does not function on mobile devices.

Please explore and enjoy some music. I will continue adding as I learn more resources!
