Smith County High School

The "devious licks" social media phenomenon, in which children steal or destroy school property and post videos online, has unfortunately made its way to Smith County High School.  Parents, please have a conversation with your children about why this behavior is unacceptable. Going forward, students who participate in these incidents will not only be receiving school discipline, but will also be receiving criminal charges.  We understand that the majority of our students take pride in their school and respect the property of others, and we refuse to allow the bad decisions of a few to create problems for everyone else. Parents, thank you for your cooperation in this matter. We hope to stop this problem before it escalates to levels seen in other schools across the country.
