Reading can be incorporated into many summer activities. How many ways can you read this summer? Whether your child is preparing to start kindergarten or move up to a new grade in the fall, summer is a great time for building stronger brains. Make summer reading even more fun by visiting a Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation Storybook Trail, joining your local library’s summer reading program, or creating your own special summer reading spot. #StoptheSlideTN #SummerReadingTN https://gelf.app.box.com/file/955939414585?s=y4b3o3hjfqdrx95pmrrt56tjz9ml3lhq

Slide into a good book this summer! Reading with children over the summer months is essential to keeping their brains active and strong. It plays an important role in expanding their love of reading and works to combat "Summer Slide," a term used to describe the learning loss that students can experience when out of school. #StoptheSlideTN #SummerReadingTN https://gelf.box.com/s/1sicxjllrygv1l5d4a6iftw8mmf12dwz
