GHS FFA State Convention

This past week Gordonsville High School was represented by 13 FFA Members at the 95th Annual Tennessee FFA State Convention.  These members worked and studied to prepare themselves to compete against FFA chapters from Tennessee.  On Monday morning GHS FFA was recognized as a Superior Chapter in the state as well as having a 10% membership growth from the previous year. 4 teams competed in the Agriculture Science Fair, with one team taking home 1st place in Middle Tennessee and State Runner Up in the Food Products and Processing Division. That team was comprised of Miss Emma Crawford and Miss Laken Roberts. The week wrapped up with three seniors receiving their State FFA Degrees. The State Degree is the highest degree/award that can be given to an FFA member by the state.  We are very proud of the accomplishments of these students. On behalf of all of our members and Mr. Rogers, we would like to express gratitude to the community for their support and encouragement of our chapter.
