GHS Senior Year Picture & Yearbook Information
Formal & Casual - July 17, 2023 (Times Assigned & Attached)
Kelly Copeland Photography will be taking these pictures and the sitting fee is $40.00. The sitting fee is due the day of pictures. They accept cash,checks, or money orders. These are the only pictures that we can use in the yearbook.
Formal Pictures: We take in the gym lobby first. We provided the drap for the girls and the tux tops & tie for the boys. Girls need to wear a cami and boys need to wear a light colored t-shirt.
Casual Pictures: Will be taken at the ag center in Carthage. When you pull in it is to the left in the little wooded area. There will be signs and a tent. This one outfit is determined by the senior. The outfit must be appropriate; no crop tops or spaghetti strap tops.
*If you cannot make it as your assigned time you may switch with someone else just please let Mrs. Rachel Bush know. If you cannot make it on the day of pictures you need to contact Mrs. Rachel. (rachel.bush@smithcoedu.net)
The picture proofs will be mailed to your house from Kelly Copeland. You will turn in your orders to Mrs. Rachel Bush. You can choose to have them delivered to your house with a fee or delivered to school for free. They leave the plant at the same time, so the timing is typically the same on receiving them.
Sports & Band Pictures
All sports will be sold online through Kelly Copeland Photography. A link and password will be sent through the coach.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be sold online & at school. They will be on sale from Jostens August - February. The cost before Christmas is $75.00. They go up to $80.00 after Christmas. We do not plan to order extras to be sold at the distribution day. It is best to buy ahead of time to ensure your child gets a yearbook.

*Only buy a yearbook through this site. Do not buy cap & gowns here; these will be ordered by Mrs. Barbara Duke and payment for those will be collected in May 2024.
Senior Ads in the Yearbook
We have a section in the yearbook reserved for parents & family members of seniors to purchase known as “Senior Ads”. The ad can include pictures, notes sayings, etc. There are only so many pages reserved, so it is best to purchase early. They will be available for purchase August - October. The payment can be sent to school in the form of cash or check. If you write a check please make it to GHS and in the memo section write your students name and senior ad.
Cap & Gown Pictures - February 23, 2024 (Times Assigned & Attached)

We know this is an exciting and busy year! We communicate on several platforms to remind students and parents of dates and times for everything pertaining to pictures and the yearbook. We put all communication on google classroom first! Please have your senior have notification turned on and check regularly. Parents can join this too! We will also put on the Remind app (GHS code is @4g3383), the school website (https://www.smithcoedu.com/o/g...), and the school’s Facebook page.
