Dear Parents/Guardians,
Gordonsville High School will be having their annual Homecoming Parade this Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. You are allowed to check your child out at 12:30 on this day if you want to watch the parade with your child. Your child will not be counted absent for their classes on this day if he/she is checked out beginning at 12:30. We will release the students like we do our car riders at the end of the day so there will be no need to come in to sign them out. GES asks that you do not park on school property. Also, please keep your child off of GES school property while watching the parade. This will help cut out any confusion and allow for the students who remain at school to orderly line the sidewalk at GES to watch the parade. Please sign and return as soon as possible only if you are planning to pick your child up at 12:30. This form will serve as a note releasing your child. Please specify on this note if they are riding with someone different than their usual ride.
