literacy night

UHS Literacy Night was so much fun. Our students took us back to the 1920's. We had displays from all areas of 1920's, We had a visit from Pooh and his friends, went to The Secret Garden, learned to do the Charleston, we even went to Hollywood. While in Hollywood we got to visit a museum with facts about 1920s. Once you finished all the exhibits, we had the book fair to purchase items that took us to different places.:

Pooh is in Pre-KPre-K and Kindergarten had Pooh to come and visit. Pooh brought honey to share with everyone from her favorite pot!

Secret GardenIf you went to the Secret Gardens of 2nd grade you were able to make a bookmark. So as you read, you have something to mark your place.

Tea and Crumbits We even had a royal room . . . Tea and Crumpet . . . 5th and 6th grade research events that happened in 1924.
