My name is Karlie Marie Barrett and I am graduating eighth grade at Union Heights Elementary. I am the daughter of Tasha Affourtit and James Barrett. While being at UHS, I have accomplished making good grades and being in Beta. I play softball for Smith County Middle School and am now a cheerleader at Smith County High School. In my free time, I enjoy reading and hanging out with all of my friends. One of my favorite memories at UHS was the lock-in for basketball and cheer. The thing I will miss the most about UHS is field day. In high school I am looking forward to cheering and meeting new people. After high school, I plan to attend college and be an EMT. One thing I would say to future graduates is everything gets better eventually and everyone has bad days but, never give up!
