Sam Hood is the the band director at Smith County Middle School. He is in the process of building the band program and would like UHS students to be a part of it. Starting next semester, he will be creating an area school band with all the students interested.
Mr. Hood will be coming to UHS on Monday, November 17th at 8:30 am to talk about the opportunities with the band and share information about how to join. The band will practice after school on Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4:30. A bus will pick up those students who are participating in the band program and take them to Smith County Middle School. You will need to pick up your child at Smith County Middle School.
