There is a box at the front door to drop off library books. Please let your child’s teacher know you have dropped the books off so they can let Dr. Rogers know. We will also still be taking them on Monday’s and Thursday’s from 9-12. We still have 238 books out and would love to get them back soon.

Hello students and families of Gordonsville Elementary, First, I hope you and your families are doing well! I am going to be sharing with you some music activities over the next couple of weeks. The way I am going to be sharing is through an online website called Thrillshare. I have already posted 4 different activities for the next four weeks. To get to this website just click this link or copy and paste in your browser. Then select G.E.S. https://www.smithcoedu.com/o/gordonsville/teacher_pages#/ If you have any trouble you can email me at jgrisham@smithcoedu.net Remember these are not required but I am hoping you will enjoy them. Smith County Schools are implementing preventive measures in regards to the Coronavirus. We want our staff, students, and parents to know we are taking the recommended CDC and TDOE prevention guidelines. Our staff is sanitizing schools and buses daily and thoroughly cleaning frequently touched surfaces and stocking schools with extra soap, paper towels, and disinfectant wipes. Teachers will be allowing more time for hand-washing and the school system has provided guidance to principals to help support them in making the best possible decisions for their students, school, and community.
