Currently, SCHS plans to hold graduation at 7:30 PM at Owl Stadium on Friday, May 20. If graduation is held on the field, NO tickets will be required; attendance will not be limited if graduation is on the field.
However, in the event that unexpected weather changes necessitate the ceremony be held in the gym, each senior will receive 10 tickets, and everyone must have a ticket to attend.
COVID INFORMATION
This is a friendly reminder about students who may be quarantined, have symptoms or are waiting on test results. If you fall under any of these areas and are unable to attend school, you may not be a part of extracurricular activities which includes going to ballgames, practices, etc.
Update: Tomorrow night’s basketball games which were scheduled to be played at Cannon County have been postponed until Monday, January 10.
The ACT scheduled to be given at SCHS on Saturday, January 8, has been postponed. Make up date to be determined.
Tomorrow night’s basketball games at Cannon County have not yet been postponed; if they are postponed, the probable make up date will be Monday, January 10. We will post more detailed information as it becomes available.
Due to inclement weather, tonight’s basketball games against Monterey have been cancelled.
Due to the threat of severe weather during the morning hours tomorrow, the ACT which was scheduled to be given at SCHS has been postponed. The rescheduled date will be announced as soon as it is finalized.
The SCHS Beta Club attended the Tennessee State Convention on Nov. 19th and came home with 3 awards:
Winni Zhao- Placed 1st in Divsion I Drawing
Kayla Barrett-Placed 4th in Division II Digital Art
Winni Zhao was also awarded BEST IN SHOW for her art submission.
Congratulations to all students who attended the convention.

There will also be a cash gate at the game, with tickets available for $10. Gates will open at 6:00 PM. The GPS address is 420 TN-76 White House, TN 37188.

At this time, we do not yet know if there will be tickets available at the gate. We have reached out to White House and are awaiting a response. Once we have an answer, we will post an update.
Reminder: The Smith County Owls will host Fairview in the first round of the playoffs on Friday, November 5. Tickets can be prepurchased from GoFan.co for $8 plus processing fees. Tickets will also be available for $10 at the gate. TSSAA and TACA passes will admit 1 person per pass. Season passes, employee passes, and any other passes are not accepted for playoff games.
